My bichon frise came home currently after carrying operation for a herniated hoop in her neck. She was in a Vet’s bureau for 4 days as well as when she returned home she growled during my alternative 2 bichons. Her partner refused to go nearby her as well as she kept growling during her friend my alternative female. She additionally went from being my amatory small lady who shadowed me to an unexcited dog who does not appear to wish my company. Can any one discuss it me what has happened?

I think she dont want the other dogs to come close cuz she dont want them to hurt her, hope she gets better, she might dont wanna be close to you cuz you dont know how to handle her and might be hurting her when you touch her, just give her some time and dont forget to giver her drugs at the time you are suppose to, good luck.

My dog had a hernia operation last year together with being neutered, something me and my husband were against as he is 14 years old. Since that time hhis personality has changed out of all recognition. He coughs all day – and a do mean ALL day, and ALL night which means we get very little sleep any more. Its like having a newborn baby! We went to the vet and all he gave us were 2 diazepam which, when we took to our own GP, he said they were exactly the same as human ones! We are at the end of our rope. We are both heavily disabled and in our fifties – there is no way we would have him put down or give him away. We just need help. Strangely, when we tell him off he stops for ten minites then starts again leading me to believe it is psychological. Please please can anyone help us with this problem?
