My 89 year aged parents mother has not long ago undergone vital surgery. She came turn from the pain-killer as well as was utterly manageable the following day though has slept soundly currently (day 2 after op), all day. your grandmother is 89. i’m surprised she was so
responsive the next day. if she’s on pain medication such as an
opiate, it would make her sleepy.
there are many other classes of drugs
that can cause drowsiness. can’t really give an informed opinion
without knowing what drugs she’s receiving.
