I am so sorry to hear about this tragedy, and I hope you have a retirement fund saved because you’re going to need more of it.
Your pet rock should be reasonably fine a couple of weeks after your retirement fund is gone, make sure you give it lots of fresh air. Avoid drawing on it or contact with other rocks, this may disturb its recovery.

I hope you have a trust fund to dip into.

Things are about to get pricey.

Well if you were not willing to pay the large bill for your rock you shouldnt have gotten it. It was very irresponsible of you to take in an exotic pet alone with out you letting it run around the front yard. Pet rocks need a lot of care and must stay in a large glass tank most of the time and not be handled much. The fact it got hit by a car is proof enough that you cant care for it.

The vet bill can be very expensive so I suggest you contact your local humane society and surrender your rock asap, dont let it suffer because your unwilling to put out the cash for it.

i wouldve loved to be there when you went to your vet

you know , i would actually be concerned if your pet rock was moving beforehand

maybe take it for a walk on a leash , might help the recovery :)

i think you might be surprised. you’re going to find out it doesn’t cost as much as eveyone wants you to think. they just want you to put it to sleep because they are jealous.
