How long before surgery should I stop drinking alcohol?

I am removing a breast augmentation in a couple of weeks as well as we was wondering how prolonged prior to a procession we should stop celebration alcohol. we have looked around upon a internet as well as we have reviewed answers saying twenty-four hours prior to a procession to 3 weeks prior to procedure. How prolonged should my complement be transparent of ethanol prior to my surgery?

Once again a medical issue that is covered by the medical team. If your doctor/nurses have not told you (I highly doubt that.) to not consume certain foods and beverages then ask them.

My own advise is to refrain from alcohol atleast five days and hydrate your body well prior to the surgery.

What did your doctor tell you? I would follow that advice before I would anything posted here.

But if you stopped drinking today. It would be all metabolized tomorrow. And the metabolites would be done in about 3 days.

I would not drink for about 2 days prior, but that would be really hard for me to do. Best wishes on your new additions!

    why stop?

just have them hook up an IV of beer and have it keep flowing while you are under surgery

2 or 3 days. now that I’ve answered your question, I also want to say that surgery is sooooo stupid. Be happy with what God gave you. put the money into a Roth IRA instead. stop wanting what you don’t have – you’ll never be happy that way. I’m a charter member of the itty bitty titty committee, and I love it.

U SHOULD NOT CONSUME ANY ALCOHOL 24 HOURS PRIOR TO SURGERY, ALOCHOL IS A BLOOD THINNER AND CAN CAUSE DEATH. NO HEAD ACHE MEDICANES ARE INCLUDED. YOU SHOULD NOT EAT OR DIRNK ANYTHING AFTER 12 MDNIGHT NIGHT BEFORE SURGERY, ANY SURGERY A TUBE IS PLACED DOWN THROAT AND ONCE IT IS IT, THE FOOD OR DIRNK CAN GO INTO LUNGS AND DROWN YOU. I LEARNED THIS TALKING TO MY DOCTOR.

@Carlos R. There is nothing wrong with having this surgery. For all you know she could be a cancer patient doing reconstruction. Even if she isn’t who are you to tell her it is stupid. RUDE RUDE RUDE!

Hope you enjoy your new look! Best wishes!

Carlos and Adriana…..If you both read the question again SHE IS HAVING HER IMPLANTS REMOVED. Carlos…she wasn’t asking for your opinion.
