I’m carrying operation upon my right knee. we fractured my tibia mountainous country skiing final Friday. The detonate has utterly distant as well as there’s a hole where it used to be (found out with aCT scan). The surgeon wants to put pins as well as a image in my knee to put all behind together, he said. No repairs to a acl or mcl, patella, etc.
Any thought how prolonged it will take to heal? I’ve never had this kind of operation so we have no thought what to expect.

bones take 8wks to heal, tissues 6 wks;; no rushing it;; your rehab may take anywhere from 2-6 months dependent on your level of function;; considering you may want to get back to skiing, you would need more progressive rehab;; btw, getting pro help will make sure you do this properly & with decreased time;; if you try this on your own, "common sense" will not get you through it properly & within a reasonable time;; you don’t want to risk re-injury, & the more you can learn, the better you’ll be able to apply…good luck, doc may tell you 3-4 months…
