I think it depends on the type of work you do if you have a physical job that requires a lot of heavy lifting I would take the full 3 weeks . I was advised to take it easy for 2 weeks and no heavy lifting for 4 weeks (I’m a stay at home mum) . I felt pretty yucky for the first 3 to 5 days after the surgery but a week later I was itching to get back in to my regular routine .

You won’t even need a week. I was lifting laundry baskets the day after mine was removed. Good luck!
