Obviously the procedure removes tissue to reshape your corneas, so there needs to be enough tissue left to remove safely. It's probably also worth trying to figure out *why* you're reverting back to nearsightedness and making sure there isn't something more sinister going on. It depends on a lot of things, but the most important one (since you’ve had LASIK twice) is the corneal thickness. My Lasik Dr. even had something in the agreement to correct anything for free if something is necessary for the first two years. You might think about looking into a new Dr. as well.
