Let’s contend we have the flattering bleak nose – how most does nose operation for the deviated septum assistance with that? Is it value it? Please share your knowledge with this if we have had surgery.
Nose surgery won’t help your allergies, because your immune system is the problem. But it should help you breathe better, should help with snoring or sleep apnea, or may relieve pain.
Surgical correction of a deviated septum will only allow for a easier flow of air and/or mucus through the area.
If the problem is allergies, surgery will not resolve it at all as it is a response of your body’s immune system. The surgery will only allow the allergic reaction to flow through easier.
Have you tried other non-surgical interventions yet?
I have had persistent sinus problems for years, until recently when a new doctor recommended using a sinus rinse rinse. It got rid of a sub-clinical sinus infection and I have been less affected by colds since I started using it regularly.
Really good post. Sinus infections (especially chronic ones) are no fun at all and can definitely lead to other issues (not to mention pretty much take over your life). Dealing w/ chronic sinusitis is another story. Sinus surgery has long been the only option when all else fails. However there are now some other ways to turn. Balloon sinuplasty is gaining traction – lots of info out there. Anyway. Knowledge is power – do your homework and talk to your doctor. Find the solution that fits your condition best. Take care.
