If you are having surgery, what would the effects of drinking alcohol before be?

I’m carrying the range operation upon my wrist in 3 days as well as tonight we longed for to drink. we was usually formulation upon carrying 1 or 2 beers though afterwards we remembered about the operation as well as which we am carrying anesthesia as well as antibiotics as well as suffering disinfectant (after). we additionally have the heart condition, where the red blood goes behind in to my heart retrograde as well as we can simply get infections.

Do we consider carrying 1-2 beers 3 days prior to my operation would be the great or bad idea? Riskwise.

    No problem

Alcohol can cause sleeplessness. It can effect the anesthetic and can cause you to require more or wake during surgery, but only if you are drinking within a few hours or a day of the surgery, depending on the amount. That is 2 glasses before surgery or heavy boozing 8 hours before is not a good idea. But 3 days before and only lightly is fine.

And don’t drink during your recovery cause it doesn’t mix well with either pain medication or antibiotics.
