Is it normal after carpel tunnel surgery to have a swollen hand/extremities with little to no feeling?

My Mom had Carpel Tunnel operation during a same time she had her rotator slap operated upon (aparently a large surgery). They did a haughtiness retard for a carpel tunnel, as well as it’s been 4.5 weeks as well as her fingers as well as palm have been utterly distended with small to no feeling.

yes, but it should not last for very long, more than likely they just did a nerve block when they did your surgery… so it should just be something that needs to wear off from the surgery…
but if it has been more than a couple days then I would call the doctor asap b/c you could have a good chance of some nerve damage from the injection

It is possible to not have feeling in the hand because carpel tunnel is the main nerve in the hand along with the other procedure and swelling could have cause for no feeling. She may need to go back or call the doctor who preformed the procedure to find out what to expect or do to start regaining feeling and it may take time too.
