My husband has recently had back surgery? Can we get disability for his time off from work?
He had behind operation as well as will be out of work for the sum of 6 weeks. Would he be means to someway replenish his pay? How could you do this? Thanks in advance.
If his injury was work related, then he can get Workman's comp from his employer. If however, it is not a work related injury, then unfortunately, he won't be able to collect anything.
Check your insurance policies, some may have coverage for this type of situation.
In order to qualify for any type of Social Security Disability or Social Security Supplemental Income, one must be out of work at least one year.
