Well I can say your throat will be a little tender for a few days. Try not to talk much and rest your throat and yourself. You will need plenty of fluids and will be on liquids and mushy food until your throat feels up to handling solids. Good luck and I hope all goes well. :)

How does the put to sleep thing go? I thought it was a needle. Ok, when your allowed to eat (they will make you wait a while) drink and eat all kinds of cold things. And relax your throat (as in don’t talk much) That’s all I know.

Your throat will be very sore from the tonsillectomy, but it is very important to drink fluids in spite of the soreness.
Your neck will most likely hurt where the incision is made, but I’m sure they will give you pain medication for both your neck and your throat.
