I knew my rabbit’s leg was not right since it was adhering out. we took him to the oldster as well as found out that he had the damaged leg. The usually thing the alloy offering was leg operation to repair it (which would price 0+), or putting the rabbit down. we would not have my rabbit put down as well as really could not means to have the surgery. we need to know if the rabbit could tarry but surgery. I’d similar to to know what kind of suffering disinfectant the rabbit could be since to palliate the onslaught to be improved again.

The first answered mine too. I think he/she is a phony. Anyways I don’t know much about bunnies. I just recently got two and one is sick. Anyways, I wouldn’t put the rabbit down. It can survive with a broken leg. Maybe in pain. You could maybe ask the vet how much it would cost for pain meds for the rabbit. And yes it can survive. If we get a broken leg they splint it and we don’t die. See if they can do that instead of surgery.
Best of luck.
Don’t put him down!

0, im a vet and there is no way he’ll make it. Just put him down peacefully if you can’t afford it. Your bunny will still love you.
HOW AM I A PHONY? I CAN SHOW MY LICENSE!

You could give it to an animal shelter. They will fix the problem and then you could adopt it back.

exuse me Doodle i doo, I’d like to see you show me a license.
if you’re going to pose as a veterinarian do you know what the consequences are for posing as one? GOING TO JAIL.
how can you not afford this? You adopted a rabbit, But you cannot afford the expenses? That’s sad, you should have thought . Ask your vet if he can take monthly payments, OR ask for Pet insurance .

Good morning,
I am very sad at this moment because my lovely dwarf bunny just passed away last night. It all started when he broke his spinal cord and due to this obvious reason he was unable to move his hind legs. We took him to the vet and he was injected with morphine that helped him endure his pain and relieve his back inflation. After this visit i had hopes he’d get better but unfortunately he gave up the battle a week and a half later after his visit to the vet. I hoped at least he wouldn’t suffer when his time would come but that was not the case, he cried and had trouble breathing until the end of it. No matter how old a bunny may be, in most cases these lovely creatures can’t make it with a broken spine It is a vital element for them to live. Overall it is gratifying to know that as a breeder i did all that i could and gave him all the love i had.

To Gabriella.
I thank you for sharing as I was looking for an answer this morning regarding my little dwarf bunny. She is 7+ years old..and unfortunatley after holding her yesterday..when she jumped back into her cage..she must of broke her back. At first I didn’t think much of it ( thinking how could she of hurt herself that easily?)..but she is an old bunny & much more frail than I thought. I continued to watch her & saw that she was dragging her hind quarters..unable to move her back legs. My heart dropped. I quick picked her up..and have tried to keep her as comfortable as possible..as our Vet’s office was closed yesterday ( Sunday). She has been sitting in the same place all night w/ her hind legs stretched under her. I don’t think she is even able to go to her litter pan…and she has stopped eating. It is so sad as I love this bunny. I do not want to see her suffer either. I know I must have her put down. I have given her much love over the last 7 years..& I know she has had a good life…but it still breaks my heart to have to say good-bye.
