What are the side effects and of surgery for spondylolisthesis?

I am thirteen years old. we have left to P.T so most times as well as a prop didn't help. Since we listen to this condition usually gets worse over time, we have a feeling we will be removing operation really soon. If we have gotten a operation any recommendation or if we could share your knowledge which would be great.

I also have spondylothesis along with 2 fractured vertabrate and bad deterioration in my lower back. Im only 17 and they told me that sometime in the next 10 years i will be getting surgery. Mine rarely bothers me the only thing i did for it was physical therapy.
Also i would recommend waiting as long as possible becaus my orthopedic surgent told me that in a couple of years they will have a new way to deal with the problem that is much less painful.
    Hope it helped
