What causes retina detachment and when you get surgery to fix it, how long does the recovery take?

I only visted my optometrist a couple of days ago. we found out which my retina is really diseased as well as might lead to retina detachment. I’m fourteen years aged as well as it’s singular for retinal unconcern or have it diseased during my age.

What causes retina detachment? Squinting as well much? Rubbing my eyes as well much? Contact lens?

When we get operation to repair it, how prolonged does a liberation take?

Any assistance is appreciated!

Here is info on retinal detachment. The cause may not be found however trauma, or an inflammatory disorder may cause this problem.

There are different types of procedures to fix the detachment so the recovery would depend on which procedure you have. Ask the doctor which procedure you will need and what the recovery is.

    Good luck!

    From Mayo Clinic:
Retinal detachment may be caused by trauma, advanced diabetes or an inflammatory disorder. But it often occurs spontaneously, as a result of changes in the jelly-like vitreous that fills the vitreous cavity of your eye.

Recovery can take from months to never, every human is individual.

    Good luck.
