With parental consent, I would think you could get it at any age. I’m not completely sure, but that does make sense.

18 unless it causes a medical problem (like deviated septum), but you should wait till like 20 something, because your body will continue to grow a little past that age. And it would stink to spend all that money just for you nose to reshape itself after the surgery.

i thought it was 16 as long as you had your parent permission. i saw 13 year olds having it done with parent permission but i dont think that is the norm .

It’s 18, but if you go to your doctor and cry your eyes out and say your getting bullied and your depressed and you can’t Focus on nothing. If your mum backs you up, then NHS should accept it at 16 :-)
    Hope I helped you xx

wait till you’re older and your nose stops growing… Or else the surgery could cause growth problems.

You want to wait until your face is finished growing. Generally that’s 14 years old for females. Your doctor would continue to measure your height over time and if you haven’t grown in a while, you’re likely done growing.

Yes, plenty of people have rhinoplasties when they’re younger…but that’s generally because they have an underlying medical condition.

If your doctor won’t give you a straightforward answer, I suggest you find another doctor.

Since you’re looking for cosmetic reasons, your doctor might be testing to see if you have deeper underlying issues (trying to make sure that you’re not going to become a surgery addict).

Since you are a minor, you will need your parents to approve any cosmetic surgery. Sure, you can probably find a doctor who won’t ask for your parent’s approval…but you’ll probably get stuck with a crooked nose if you start finding sketchy doctors.
