OMG my father had this done in both his legs. I’m glad I finally get to have a fuller understanding of what was done. Thank you

After surgery was over ,I was transferred to another hospital of my choice of three on my list. There was no follow-up by the social worker . I was placed in a hospital bed in a wrong wing for “Stroke Patients” instead of Othopediic and was treated as such as a stroke instead . My recovery worsened as a result . I wasn’t ablt to get up out of bed and walk as I was supposed to etc. .There only interest was clearing my bladder at midnite. To this day- I am still suffering nothing going right my way

My husband is having this done on Friday. He can’t wait for the terrible knee pain to be all gone. This video was really helpful to him, thank you.

I had this done on January 15, 2009. It is now May 6, and I am completely healed, I walk without pain, and I have full range of motion. They claim the prosthetic will last 25 years. It was an ordeal, but worth it?? YES! It hurt every step I took before.

I had DOUBLE – TOTAL – Knee replacements done I think it was 5 days apart … This was about 3 years ago in March … GOD !!! I can’t believe I forgot ANY of the details … It was a nightmare, and the MOST difficult surgery I will or would EVER have done !!! Would I do it again ??? YES … for then, but NOW ???

The replacements I had were only supposed to last for 15 years … so I would be about 67 when it is time to do it again … I honestly CAN’T say if I would or COULD go through it all again emotionally, never mind physically … I had a FABULOUS doctor and it’s an awesome and long story, but he did this surgery for me for FREEEEEE, but do it AGAIN ????????????? NOOOOO …. :(

From what material is the new knee made of?..and with what fluid is it lubrifiated? Sinovial fluid is realy neccesary as lubrifiant in an anatomic articulation.
