I dislocated my right shoulder twice and I’ll be having surgery in a few weeks. Since I see the comment is a bit old. Tell me, did you have it? If you did, tell me how did it go?

I am having surgery on the 25th of Feb, next week. I have been told it is for a shoulder impingement and maybe a rotator cuff repair. First time I have ever had proper surgery and this video has helped as I want to know as much as possible. Always been fascinated by surgical procedures but feels a bit odd now it’s my turn.

I had a lambrum surgery done in my left shoulder for 2 years ago and I got a lot better, but not to my original state. It was a pretty big one they told me, they used 4 anchors. I had ro rehab for 6 motnts, and I don’t recomend anything less than that. DON’T hurry the rehab. Tke the time. and it’ll be good

I just had this done Dec 23rd, 2008 and still having pain!!!! Went to PT therapy last week and they say everyone is different. The therapist says will take about 6-8 weeks before the pain goes away. But it will be worth it, as I was told my a Nurse who assisted with my out-patient surgery that she had “both” shoulders done/bone spurs and just takes time, everyone is different as far as pain and recovery. It will be worth it tho”!!! Debbie

I had a shoulder injury after a bad rugby tackle 3 years ago. I had the surgery almost a week ago and am still in agony. I went to work today in my sling, even using a computer hurt like hell. I havent slept properly for the past 5 days. Its a big deal, make sure you definitely need it.

I have you really swing my arm like throwing a base ball for my shoulder to come up, or lift weights with shoulder movement. Besides that I does come out easy

If you need it, get it, but depending on how bad the injury is, it will take a long time to completely recover from the surgery…
