@nickigw94 She’s getting up there now in terms of age, in the wild they wouldn’t live this long, probably 10-12 years, in captivity this can be doubled, because of the good care and diet they receive. We did have a cougar that lived to be 29 years old!

She’s beautiful, with a house kitty tummy pouch and all! It must be difficult to diagnosis pain in animals, huh? These guys must get really grouchy when they’re hurting! Thank you for taking care of her, keeping her healthy and safe.

Looks like her other eye is infected. Its pussing and watering and she is rubbing it. That is sad :(

Her ears look small and wavy. Are they ruffled from some kind of damage? Do the previous owners ever visit the cats they weren’t able to take care of? If they surrender their cat via court order, are they also ordered to never have another wild animal, or can they just get another one?

@BigCatRescue thank you so much for the explanation, I wasn’t sure if they were different species or the same. In spanish, people also call black leopards “pantera” and therefore I was confused. Thanks again!! :)

I couildn’t watch this video (lol)….I am a little too squeamish.

I am glad that you people at BCR take such good care of these cats. It kinda restores my faith in humanity (just a little), though these cats would be able to live in their natural habitat if it wasn’t for people, so go figure…

Thanks for keeping us updated. I love seeing how the cats are doing!

@da12nvmp Yep Scott was the host on this video, I don’t believe he has a zoology degree or anything like that, he just has an enormous amount of experience working with these cats!
