Be concerned about your safety! Avoid the complications of Lasik by being prepared which you can do by checking out a site like safelasikguide [ . ] com or something similar and read everything you can before even thinking about getting the surgery!
My surgery wasn’t painfull at all. I had it done with the LASIK technique. Mayby you guys had it made with older techniques. And to not feel the “clockwork orange device” hurting you you need to open your eyes as wide as you can and loosen your eylids. I had -7 and afterwards it was like JIm said: like being born again.
If I’d showed this to my mum, she’d kill herself this instant. A couple of weeks I had a Lasik treatment, and she wasn’t enthousiastic at all about me get my eyes treated.
Brilliantly told, I slightly panicked, when it all went black…Now, in hindsight I am more than happy with my brand new eyes.
Don’t do Lasik, it’s not safe!! Google: lasik suicides, lasik disaster, lifeafterlasik, lasik-flap, lasikcomplications and you will discover the truths about this permanent FLAP that never heals and has KNOWN and UNKNOWN problems for eternity. The Lying Lasik Doctors do NOT want you to know this, then they wouldn’t make $5,000 in 10 minutes…A FLAP can’t be safe, stick with contacts or worst case do PRK Refractive Surgery. The FDA is holding an emergency meeting on April 25th 2008…
The surgery was really uncomfortable. It was really hard not to panic. My guy used the Clockwork Orange devices to keep my eyes open and I was fighting them the entire time. Worst part was the smell of burning flesh. My pain was mild but lasted about 3 days.
Afterwards, I could see leaves on trees and it was the best decision I ever made.

I tried contacts once. I was completely unable to get them in my eyes even with the help of a professional.
