Cataract Eye Surgery, hypermature foolish deluge (HMSC). This is a live recording of a eye operation as well as involves scalpels, needles as well as alternative healing instruments. It is not endorsed for a gloomy during heart.
ok it may sound like the dumbest question in the world but i really need some reassurance here… they do put the people to sleep b/4 they go pokin at the eye and what not right???? please answer O.O
well i until he snipped the cataract i could’nt really see much and yea i remember most of it but the begining is kinda foggy and no it actually didnt hurt it was all anesthetiezd and it went really well
i just had a traumatic cataract taken out of my right eye because of an injury not to long ago, the cataract was so thick the doctor had to cut it with a pair of scissors he compared it to cutting a shoe lace and said it looked like the mother of all cataracts lol he also had to reconstruct my pupil and replace my lens
The patient in this video was very grateful for the surgery — which was made possible by a Canadian NGO, World Literacy of Canada & Dr. K. Niranjan. You can follow the personal story of this patient by watching the film: A Healthy Vision for Tomorrow. (linked from Katsu2Katsu)
This surgeon Dr. K. Niranjan was really great. He specialized in cataract surgery and donated his skills to help those less fortunate. This was a very mature cataract and he injects antibiotics to help with the healing as the patient did not have access to such things once they went back to their rural homes.

Did it hurt at all?
Could you see what they were doing to your eye? (Being that it was open) Or did you remember at all?
Did your eye hurt after?
Sorry for all the questions. I’m curious.

No, the patient is only under local anesthetic & aware of what is happening — but cannot feel anything in that area that is being operated on.
