Embolization is a healing allege which shrinks uterine fibroids. One little rent allows us to compromise a complaint quickly, safely as well as but surgery.
I just had this procedure done yesterday and I am sitting up already, I had no cramping nothing. I was a little nauseated after the procedure. But I am doing good.
If u dont mind I advice u good herbal treatment for Fabroids.Avoid milk from cows using oxyticin injections.ur meals should be in time,No negative thinking use aloe juice with honey three times day. After a week u and ur mother will be relieved. If not curse me.thankyou
Yeah the scheduled ultrasound sounds good but also have an MRI done if the ultrasound shows any evidence of tumors. The MRI will give exact size and locations of each tumor. I think I had my tumors since age 18 but they were not confirmed until 2003 via ultrasound at age 35. But get yours verified while you are young mainly if you want to have children. I am 40 years of age now and is scheduled to have a UFE on July 13, 2009 because I am still hoping to have children one day in spite of
Heh. I was thinking exactly what you were thinking. My Mom is more skeptical though. We’re scheduling an ultrasound within a couple weeks so hopefully I’ll know whether I do or not. ^_^
Hi ManderMurduh: Just a brief comment I read that you said that you are only 18, well, I think that i started growing my fibroids @ age 18. Ask your doctor for an MRI and ultrasound just to confirm because in my aspect age does not matter when it comes to fibroid tumors.
I had this procedure done on May 13 2009. There is some cramping, but if you have had painful periods nothing you can’t handle and my doctor gave me good drugs after the procedure. And yes I was sick to my stomach for a few days and I took pepcid for that. I stayed over night in the hospital. And I was back to work in 10 days. I am glad that I had the procedure done. My stomach is getting flatter but I had such a large fibroid the size of a nerf football .
actually there is another way all u hav 2 do is change ur diet eat more acidic foods and whole foods which would dissolve the fibroids naturally..Im bout 2 start my fast june 15 n i will do water 4 1 week straight that wil help n gettin the toxins out of my body then i will start with the acidic fruits like grapefruits, oranges, limes, lemons etc…and then that next week i will do dark leafy vegetables to restore sum of the vitamins and minerals that my body so desperately needs.
I am having it done July 14th. I am so worried I heard there is alot of cramping and feeling of being sick to your stomach for a while. Is this true? I think when I made the appointment to have it done they said I would stay one day.
Mine was done by an Interventional Radiologist. I was just noticing today how, when I look down, my gut is a lot flatter. My periods aren’t wild and crazy anymore either (I just had my 2nd since the procedure). There’s a lot to gain, and you’ll feel SO much better. Try not to be scared … it DOES need to be done. You’ll be in my thoughts. When are you due to go in for the procedure?
nadya suleman myometctomyis different they dont take halve theuteru Myomectomy preserves the uterus while treating fibroids. It is reasonable treatment option if you have:………….. Pain or pressure that is not relieved by treatment with medicine. A fibroid that has changed the wall of the uterus. This can sometimes cause infertility or repeat miscarriages. Before an in vitro fertilization, myomectomy is often done to improve the chances of pregnancy.
I just had this procedure done on Monday. It’s Saturday now, and I’m up and typing this. I was scared too, and thought I’d be doubled over, but it wasn’t like that at all. If I can keep it real with you … the worst part about the recovery ain’t the uterine cramping … it’s the constipation. (Laugh if you want, but it’s the TRUTH). Anyway, get the procedure done … it’s a little cramping for years of relief! And don’t be scared, Sweetheart, you’ll be okay!
I just discovered I’ve this fibroid in my uterus too. It’s about 6cm big. Is it a must to go through operation to remove it? No other remedy? I’m scared of operations and worried now
i am having this done in may and i am scared out of my mind. can someone plase tell me what to expect before and after surgery such as recovering and pain
I had this procedure done without any complications at all..I have experienced very little pain also..Once in a while a cramp ( dying fibroid) will happen but it’s not intense..All in all I think it was worth it
thanks for sharing this video my mom is gonna have this done in a few day and I’m scared as well as she is too….but now i know how everything goes am a lil calm now once again thanks
I had a UAE one on Friday. I had a large one and a small on that cause crazy bleeding and longggg cycles. I had lots of doubts aobut this procuedure but decided to do it because its not considered major surgery and didn’t have much to lose and everything to gain. Yes, I was scared but I will tell you my doctors were GREAT, not in bedside manner but who cares. I stayed overnight. I was not totally uncouncious but didn’t feel a thing, I felt like I was in twlight zone sleeping and it was done. I stood overnight and had a pump for morphine, which is probably why I didn’t feel much pain. I slept most the time. I did have cramping but the pain helped so its nothing you cant deal with. I went home the next day and just took it easy and relax with good meds. questions email me.
