    I guess when you play an idiot, you’re entitled to your idiosyncrasies. Jerry was a good comic director (except for his excesses) but he absolutely ignored breaking the 3rd wall by accident. He never removed his wedding band, even when playing a teenager! It’s missing in this one because he’d already left his first wife and didn’t marry the next one (SanDee Pitnik) until playing opposite her in his next movie “Hardly Working”. Otherwise you’d have seen it in the closeup at 0:22!

    jerry lewis is the funniest man i’ve ever seen.
    just look at all of these “not funny ever” guys like ben stiller, sandler, vaughn, etc. he is a comic genius, i don’t think there is anybody like him, never was, and will never be.

    This was one of Jerry’s last and most funniest films. This kind of humor is so obsolete now, that most people just don’t get it. Talent like this is nearly gone.
