Utilization of different shelf rent to perform periodontal surgery. Also shows suturing, chain of sauce as well as exclusion of patient. Orig. air date: JAN 4 72
periodontal surgery is the treatment for unhealthy periondontal tissue in many countries around the world so that thanks a lot for this video, only the USA universities teaches LANAP procedures to periodontal residents
every 3rd world dentists with interest in periodontics will find this video more useful than what happen in reality…but why don’t you put more recent videos…something more (up-to-date)
Dr Goel I know you do LANAP but less than 1% of dentists offer the procedure even though the FDA clearence is over 5 years old that says it reverses gum disease. Why do you think that is?
To treat this patient today the LANAP procedure would be used. No cutting, no sewing and virtually no post operative discomfort. It is difficult to imagine that people once needed this kind of surgery to treat gum disease.

This is still considered standard of care among dentists.
Only one University in the USA (UC) teaches LANAP to its Periodontal residents.
