The ones who massacred the Chinese in barbaric fashion were in fact division made out of Korean soldiers who disobeyed the Japanese central command who tried their best to be civilized to the Chinese.
OK, Japanese are Japanese, they will deny any responsibility at Najing 1937, what else is new. But I’m more disturbed that the game of blame the Koreans, is being quickly spread around in China and gaining foothold, helped by some Chinese media print.

After the Japanes captured Nanjing, China, they MURDERED, RAPED, AND LOOTED. Japanese had head chopping contest in which they competed to see who could chop off the most heads of chinese civilian men from children to old men. Japan should still be ashamed they don’t even teach about it in school and denied it until the 90s when japanese veterans admitted they did it and many other attrocities.
