If you think of plastics as hydrocarbons like poly styrene or PVC, then skin is a plastic. Skin is made from proteins which are hydrocarbons, of course there is Nitrogen mixed in.
i think it is a good thing and a bad thing! It is a good thing because once the doctor asked me after i got my stiches off if i would want plastic surgery on my foot. It is bad because usually you are not comfterble with something and you should always be happy with your body!
But it does show a weakness in that the person can’t except things as they are. It shows complacency and a lack of dignity. Of course some cases are forgivable, such as a real deformation. If you cant go outside without being looked at or your face inhibits you, fine, if you look normally ugly then deal with it normally.
