But what does which essentially mean? The tellurian eye is assembled similar to a camera …with a transparent lens in a front as well as light-sensitive hankie during a rear. This hankie creates up a retina which acts similar to detailed film. In an eye which has undiluted vision, light rays flitting by a student have been focused by a lens to tumble …

Good for you! By the way, I just went to the optometrist who did the operation for my regular check-up. My eyes are now 20/10 on the left and 20/15 on the right. I hope it gets even better:)

What you’re doing is correct. There’s no point rushing or forcing it. However, I suggest you undergo refractive screening from 2-3 well reputed doctors. They will check your eyes thoroughly to see if you are fit for PRK, what your percentage of having complications are, if your eyes are healthy or disease-free, etc. I suggest at least 2 reputable ophthalmologists (as what I have done) to be able to have the safety-net of having a second or even third opinion. I was like you at first. Hehehe.

Haha..of course there is. But during the operation? The doctors would be stupid if that happens. You should really take care of your eyes during post op because getting infected while the eye is still unhealed could lead to blindness.

In the Philippines it ranges from 65k Pesos to 85k Pesos. That.s around 1,500USD-2,000USD. Even with the cheaper and lesser known Doctors everybody I talked to were very happy with the results. Just be prepared for the 2-3 days that your eyes are going to hurt like hell.

You don’t have to redo the surgery every month. That’s just crazy!! Check-ups should be fine.

The risks are there, but that’s where your doctor’s experience comes into play. Get a very experienced one.

how many Euros are in a dollar?….also some1 told me that every month u hav to redo this surgery just to keep ur eyesight good…..also wats the risk of taking this?>…. cause i’ve seen videos of them messing up…..that’ll make ya blind…=/

Yes you only do it once. In sweden each eye costs about 1200 euros, in iran both eyes cost about 700 euros( Iranian doctors are great).

I don’t understand ur comment about going back every months…why go back and how does that help to keep the eye sight “good” ?

It been over a month my mum did her surgery and every thing is fine. She used antibiotic eye drops the first 2 weeks.

I wouldn’t listen or ask people who haven’t had the experience, they tend to make up a lot of things.

I was convinced about the things she said in the mid-part of the clip. But during the last parts, I was like.. GTFO! ALL SURGERY HAS RISKS OF SOMETHING.

  • alphaprocyonx

eye surgery sounds good at first but the truth is… most patients after a while revert back to using glasses due to strain from bad vision habbits. master good vision habbits till the habbits become subconscious and vision will slowly return to normal…no matter how far gone. the question is what are bad and good habbits…

During the Surgery It doesnt hurt because you will be given anesthetic, But a few days after the surgery, It may start to hurt, either alot or a little, Depending generally on what type of treatment you have done
