well its because of the indian godess with the 8 legs or whatever, i dont know the details, but i remember reading about this child when she was born and alot of people going to see her and warship

Not just in America. I’m sure there are plenty of Hindus who wouldn’t hold that belief. There are Christians in this country who believe that they talk directly to God. Delusional belief systems can be found in other religions too.
