Cut off from a normal sea diet, these white sturgeon face a hazard of extinction. Hooked: Monster Fish of America : MON NOV 2 10P et/pt : channel.nationalgeographic.com
I’m an idiot because I correctly answered a question that you posted on a website viewed by millions each day? Hrm…..I think it’s the other way around. If you didn’t want an answer you should have stated an opinion instead of a question. No need to get angry, I was just answering your question…
That sturgeon looked just about fine and ready to spawn in the near future, until these guys decided to come by, cut her to take out a few eggs, then put something like a mag-lite into her. I really want to question the usefulness of such studies…
there was a story in Sacarmento River California, a 200lbs was caught and it took over 9hr to bring it in…
like they said in the video, they use their pectoral fins to cut the current and hug the river bottom…like your hand outside the car window while driving, angled down…same thing
Damn couldn’t they have put something smaller in her. Yeah I’d like to have something the size of dynamite stick place in me to keep track of my wearabouts. Jeez I thought we lived in the age of technology where they made things small. Guess I was wrong!

Dude, what video were you watching? They did put a device in the fish to show where it will spawn its eggs. They even said it.

Why didnt they put like a tracking device in here if they want to know where she spawns her eggs? And is she a rare fish?

I think after such surgery, the blood will attract a lot of piranhas that should devour it in 5 minutes
